Studio Orme is a stained glass studio based by the sea in Margate, led by artist Claire Orme. With a background in fine art, Claire creates bold, thoughtful and bespoke pieces that blend age-old stained glass techniques with a fresh, contemporary approach.
Collaboration is a big part of her practice — as well as designing her own work, Claire also fabricates stained glass for other artists looking to explore the medium. Her fabrication work has featured in exhibitions at institutions including the Hayward Gallery, Frieze London, Yorkshire Sculpture Park, Jupiter Artland, the Wellcome Collection, and Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery.
